“a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event, or something with an uncertain outcome.”

Research shows that a small amount of stress enhances people’s performance while a lot can interfere with one's quality of life. I have worked a lot with people whose anxiety levels have crossed the threshold from healthy to harmful. Harmful meaning their anxiety interferes with their ability to focus, connect with others, work effectively, and enjoy life.
